Victoria practises in the area of commercial and corporate litigation with an emphasis on insolvency and reconstruction. She also co-leads Jackson McDonald’s team specialising in secured recoveries and enforcement of securities.


Victoria works with insolvency practitioners, directors and creditors in administrations, liquidations and receiverships. She is experienced in drafting and advising on deeds of company arrangement and advising and representing clients in relation to the various issues that arise in insolvencies.


Victoria advises on and conducts commercial dispute matters including matters arising from negligence, breach of contract, breach of trust and under provisions of the Corporations Act.


Victoria is the former West Australian Chair of the Insolvency and Reconstruction Law Committee of the Law Council of Australia. She is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association and of IWIRC the Insolvency Practitioners’ Network Inc. She was named in the 2014 Best Lawyers Australia survey in the areas of Insolvency & Reorganisation Law and Commercial Law.


After graduating from the University of Western Australia with degrees in law and commerce, Victoria joined Jackson McDonald in 1997. In 2003, she worked with the Office of Fair Trading (UK) and then with the Financial Services Authority (UK) in 2004/2005. She returned to Jackson McDonald in 2005.
