Vanessa Halle is Partner at the Nico Halle & Co. Law Firm and heads the Intellectual Property department. Vanessa was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2011 by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, the Cameroon Bar in 2013, and is an accredited IP Attorney at the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI).

Vanessa has extensive experience managing IP portfolios (Patents, Trademarks, Domain names, Models, Copyrights, Designs, Plant Variety, Geographical Indications) as she advises and represents clients in strategic areas such as brand development and implementation, protection / registration, maintenance and acquisition of Intellectual Property, due diligence, pre-litigation and litigation processes, and transactions (franchising, licensing and transfers).
Vanessa provides tactical guidance and advises on launching new businesses, products, and services; business transactions and partnerships; drafts and negotiates complex contracts, loan agreements; and dispute resolution. She advises clients on a wide range of corporate/commercial matters and transactions in Africa, especially member countries of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law (OHADA), and OAPI.
