Renata Moreira Lima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Post-Graduate degree in International Business Law from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP-SP), and a Master’s Degree (LL.M.) in Law from the University of Michigan, U.S.A., Renata was member of Mayer Brown LLP in Chicago, U.S.A., and Rulli & Moretti Advogados. Renata attended the specialization program at Georgetown University Law Center – Division of Continuing Legal Education: Analysing Contracts,
Managing International Business Transactions, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Renata Mendes Moreira Lima was invited, in 2011, by the Brazilian Department of Agriculture, to write, together with Juliano Lazzarini Moretti, the “Acquisition and Exploitation of Rural Real Estate in
Brazil” chapter of the official publication named: “Brazil – How to Invest in Agribusiness”. Renata and Juliano were also invited by Euromoney – London, to write the chapter regarding Brazil in the 2011/2012 and 2013/2014 Real Estate Yearbook.
Renata focuses her practice on corporate law in general, especially with domestic and international commercial and finance contracts, mergers and acquisitions, customs, maritime and transportation law, environmental, real estate and cross-border transactions. She is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in German.
