Rana is specialized in corporate, commercial, banking and finance law as well as litigation. She has advised on a wide range of commercial transactions, including takeovers, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, capital raising, joint ventures, conducting comprehensive compliance and due diligence reports. Besides her substantial experience in offshore transactions, Rana also provided legal counseling on franchising, employment, IT, intellectual property, dispute resolution, real estate, corporate governance and insurance matters.

Rana is a member of the Jordan Bar and she was appointed by the Ministry of Industry as a member of the National Committee for drafting new regulations in relation to liquidation and insolvency. Rana holds an LLM degree in Banking and Finance Law from Queen Mary University, University of London, UK. She obtained her BA in law from Jordan University.

Prior to joining Atwan & Partners Rana worked as an attorney and legal counsel in Eversheds LLP and Arab Bank Plc.
